Historical weather

When historical weather is requested, the app sends a rounded track-area location and date to Visual Crossing. It does not send your name, email, logger serial, video or complete GPS trace. We store weather snapshots to avoid repeat requests and display the data provider. Historical hourly conditions are regional estimates and may differ from conditions at the track.

Information we use

We use your sign-in provider’s account identifier, email, name and optional profile photo to identify your account. Uploaded logger files can include GPS locations, dates, times, device identifiers and telemetry. A team owner can create a named reserved driver profile before that driver signs up and assign recordings to it. Reserved profiles do not have login accounts or passwords. Team colors, logos and banners are visible to current teammates; uploaded image metadata is removed. We also store the profile and kart setup information you choose to enter, team membership, access grants and lifetime upload usage.

Sign-in and essential storage

Google or another enabled provider handles your provider password. Moore Podiums does not request or store it. The app uses an essential HttpOnly sign-in cookie. Application access and refresh tokens are encrypted in private server storage. Local demo mode stores recordings in your browser; signed-in cloud sessions use the connected database. Unit and display preferences can be stored in your browser.

Hosted onboard video

When you choose Upload video in the hosted beta, your footage is sent directly to Cloudflare Stream for video processing and delivery. Footage may include faces, voices, locations and other personal information. Upload only recordings you have permission to use. Video metadata, recording-time suggestions, synchronization and display settings are stored with the session in our private database. Playback requires sign-in, video access and permission to view that session; eligible current teammates can view it. New public session links can include the current video when the session owner selects that option. Existing telemetry-only links stay telemetry-only. Anyone holding a video-enabled link can view that clip without signing in; replacements are not included automatically. Revocation blocks new playback authorization, while a previously issued video playback link can remain usable for up to five minutes. Playback links are short-lived bearer links and should not be forwarded. You can remove a video from its session; provider outages can delay removal. Removing a session makes its video unavailable in the app, and provider cleanup runs separately. Videos and settings are not anonymous data.

Video retention and downloads

During this beta, healthy videos remain until you remove the video or its session; automatic age-based expiration is disabled. If a future retention policy is enabled, the upload screen will display the period for new videos, and each applicable video will show its expiration date. Expired videos become unavailable and are queued for permanent removal from Cloudflare; session telemetry remains. Existing videos without an expiration date are not retroactively expired. Keep your original footage. Authorized session editors can request an MP4 download when available. Free beta uploads include the logo. Drivers with an active paid Driver or Team membership may choose to omit the logo before a new upload; the driver’s current paid entitlement is checked again for watermark-free downloads. The logo is embedded in new videos during processing; changing a baked-in logo requires re-uploading the original clip. Downloads do not include the app’s interactive telemetry overlays. Download links expire within five minutes; already-downloaded copies cannot be revoked.

Device-local onboard video

The device-local video preview, when enabled, opens a video you select from your device. The video is not uploaded to our server or included in shared-session links. Its file association, sampled fingerprint, sync and display settings stay in this browser, scoped to the signed-in account. Where supported, remembering a file stores a browser file-access handle with your permission. You can detach it or clear browser data. Camera/export timestamps provide unverified sync suggestions; check a visible crossing. Hiding an overlay such as RPM does not redact the underlying telemetry in a shared session.

Support and administration

Support requests and replies are stored privately. Authorized support staff can view requests and limited account and subscription status to help you. Administrators can manage complimentary access; protected application owners can invite or revoke staff. Sensitive administration actions are audited. Staff access does not automatically grant access to private session telemetry or video. Do not include passwords, payment details or private share links in support messages.

Teams and sharing

Your sessions are visible to your current teammates. Team owners and leads can upload, edit and delete sessions for team members. Ordinary members can change their own sessions. Confirm the team you join before uploading. Complimentary access codes grant membership access, not access to another team’s recordings.

You can choose to create an expiring read-only link to one of your sessions. Anyone with the link can view that session’s GPS locations, date/time, laps, telemetry and stored weather without signing in. Kart setup is optional. Account details, private notes, tire serials and raw files are excluded. You can revoke future access; recipients can retain information they already viewed or downloaded. Only share data you have permission to publish.

Service providers

Cloudflare Stream processes and delivers hosted onboard videos. Supabase provides authentication and database/storage services. The hosting provider runs the application. Historical weather lookups send the rounded track-area location and UTC date to Visual Crossing when enabled. Google Maps or the selected satellite provider receives map requests when that background is displayed. Profile photos may load from your sign-in provider. These providers can process network identifiers such as IP addresses. Saved weather can retain attribution to an earlier provider.

Google’s Privacy Policy and Maps terms apply to its services. Visual Crossing terms describe its service.

Retention, deletion and requests

You can delete sessions in the application. Deletion does not reset lifetime trial usage. Tire serials and accumulated distance/session history are retained in your tire inventory after a recording is deleted. Private raw file archives, operational logs and encrypted backups may remain until their retention/cleanup process runs. Contact us to request account deletion, an export, correction or removal of archived copies. Account deletion is currently handled by the operator, including resolving team ownership where needed.

Younger racers

Minors must have parent or legal guardian approval before participating in this beta or uploading personal data. A parent/guardian should contact us before creating or managing a minor’s access. Do not upload someone else’s data without permission. We do not currently automate guardian identity or age verification.

Changes

We may update this notice as the beta evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or the account contact channel. Contact us with questions about the use of your information.
